SF Ed Fund Welcomes its 2025 Young Leaders Council Cohort

We’re thrilled to welcome a new cohort of passionate changemakers to the SF Ed Fund’s Young Leaders Council (YLC)! The YLC is a group of dynamic young professionals across sectors who are passionate about ensuring every student in San Francisco has access to a quality public education. Through their service, YLC members help the SF Ed Fund fulfill its mission of advancing equitable education by providing quality learning programs, community support, and financial resources to educators, students, and schools.
We are delighted to welcome the following nine new members:
- Will Ahl
- Katie Barnes
- Hannah Grantz
- Shreya Khandewale
- Kai Milici
- Samantha Pfau
- Gary Pierre
- Alexandria Smith
- Kate Richards Tucker
This new cohort is joining Pedro Alvarez, Josh Chan, Stacie Kinser, Kamla Kumar, Dominique Mihaljevic, and Tina Nibbi. The team’s bios can be found here.
YLC members bring a diverse range of backgrounds and talents to the SF Ed Fund. Through their service, they act as ambassadors for our work: sharing our mission with their networks, volunteering at events, organizing fundraisers, and helping us build lasting partnerships that benefit our schools. As part of their commitment, members participate in hands-on volunteering, help power our signature events like the Back-to-School Gala, and lend their skills to special projects and committee work. They also gain firsthand experience in how young professionals can support nonprofit leadership, and work together to ensure the SF Ed Fund continues to grow and thrive.
To our new YLC members: your creativity, networks, and leadership are invaluable. We’re honored to have you by our side as we work to expand opportunity and equity across San Francisco’s public schools.
