Become a Corporate Partner

The SF Ed Fund engages local companies to partner with San Francisco public schools through our Circle the Schools Corporate Partnerships program.

Corporate partners can support the SF Ed Fund in three ways: serving as volunteers at school events, serving as sponsors during fundraising events, and providing operating, programs, or school grants. Corporate volunteers have provided $2.3M in resourcing and 48,919 since program inception, impacting over 110,000 students. Volunteers provide support for Back-to-School Setup in August, Computer Science Education Week in December, and more.

Fiscal Sponsorship

Fiscal sponsorship allows you to operate your SF public-school related project under the SF Ed Fund’s 501c3 status. Fiscal sponsors hold all fiduciary, administrative, and legal responsibilities for a project while you focus on your mission! This allows projects to receive grants and tax-exempt donations from government, foundations, and individuals. The SF Ed Fund also provides comprehensive back office services in support of projects. Benefits include:

  • Projects being able to launch quickly, without having to file or wait for 501(c)(3) status
  • Newly founded projects have time to incubate without having to invest in infrastructure
  • Financial management is taken care of by professionals, increasing the confidence of funders
  • Economies of scale for many services that create affordable access to liability protection, health insurance, and legal counsel

The SF Ed Fund is currently accepting select, mission-aligned fiscal sponsorship opportunities. To learn more, please reach out to COO Rebecca Kroll at rkroll@sfedfund.org.
