Adam Anderson has extensive experience leading strategy, transformation, and operations in public, private, and nonprofit organizations nationwide. He is currently the Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Lick-Wilmerding High School in San Francisco and also serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of ConnectEd: The National Center for College and Career.
Previously, Adam was an Executive Director at Boston Consulting group and served as President and COO at The District Management Group, working with urban school districts to drive measurable student improvements. He also led operations, strategy, talent, and culture at EducationSuperHighway and held senior leadership roles at Chicago Public Schools, ultimately serving as Deputy Chief of Staff to the CEO. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Management Consultant at BCG and a Test Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace.
A proud product of California public schools and first generation college student, Adam earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from CSU Long Beach and an MBA and MA in Education from Stanford University, where he received the Arbuckle Award for Leadership. He is a dedicated advocate for ensuring all students graduate high school prepared for college, career, and life. Adam lives in San Francisco with his wife, Stephanie, and their children, Audrey and Theo.
