Stef Almendares (she/her/hers) is passionate about creating safe spaces for youth to learn and thrive. Before her role as School Site Coordinator for the Ed Fund, she spent the last decade supporting young people’s academic success through after school programming and tutoring. She has worked with a wide range of students, from our youngest learners in elementary school to energetic middle schoolers, and emerging leaders graduating high school.
Born and raised in San Francisco, Stef is an avid Giants and 49ers fan. She spends her free time outdoors, creating memories with her family, or catching up on reading. She graduated from CSU Fullerton with a BA in Sociology and is excited to work within a community she grew up in.
