Our Programs
The San Francisco Education Fund’s programs focus on one goal: improve student success in San Francisco public schools. Because no single effort can yield the results we seek, the Education Fund utilizes a multi-faceted approach focused on teachers, students, volunteers and strategic partnerships. The Education Fund’s ongoing research, policy and public engagement work spans all of our program areas.
School Volunteers
School Volunteers mobilizes more than 800 corporate and community volunteers who serve weekly as tutors, mentors and interpreters. Learn more.
Peer Resources
Peer Resources fosters middle and high school student's leadership skills so they take ownership of their education and take an active role in creating safe, engaging, supportive and rigorous learning environments intheir schools. Learn more.
Postsecondary Success Program
The Postsecondary Success Program helps school staff analyze their student data to identify which students drop-out, when and why, so the schools can implement interventions with teachers, counselors and direct service organizations to interrupt these patterns and increase the numbers of students who graduate high school ready for college and careers. San Francisco Teacher Residency
The San Francisco Teacher Residency transforms how teachers are prepared to serve in our public schools by combining master’s level coursework at Stanford University or University of San Francisco and hands-on experience with a master San Francisco Unified School District teacher. Learn more.
